Google+ Plus Features and First Impression

Before I tell you where to get an Google+ Plus invitation, let us take a look at the inside of Google+ Plus!

What is Google+ Plus?

Google has launched his new social network called Google Plus now for a limited amount of beta user! Google Plus is Googles answer to Facebooks ever growing social networking power, and it really is worth taking a look.

Here are some of the features in short :

Google+ Cycles

Google Cycles : This is very similar to the old fashioned groups or the newer list feature Twitter provides. A new word for an old thing, but very well done and usable! Much easier and faster than doing the same thing with Twitter or Facebook!

Google Stream : This is very similar to Google buzz, twitter or the Wall at Facebook, but it´s a lot easier to organize, so this is a great + for Google!

Google+ Profiles : Well, this is just like your Google profile, with a few more features, so is it possible to add content from Google Buzz for instance!

Google+ Hangouts

Google+ Hangouts : Well, here it´s getting interesting! Google+ Hangouts is like a group video live chat.

Its like a live stream,  showing the talking person! This may become the point making Google+ something new and unique……we will see!

Google Sparks

Google Sparks : Here is where the Google Plus button takes most effect! Google+ Sparks suggests and recommends content all over the web. This is the second real intersting feature Google Plus has to offer so far.

Google+ Photos : Photo sharing, combined with some nice photo editing features. Nice tool but nothing really new!

After going though these features and points, I come to the end that Google+ isn´t just another boring social network! For sure, it´s social, and its a network, but it really has to offer some additional value!

Add-On : Google Plus has launched “Google Plus Games” today! So it´s possible to play your favorite “Fb” Games though Google Plus!

Google Plus is still in beta and only open for some beta testers, but you can request an invitation by sending an email to :

googleinvite [at] webtrafficsoftware [dot] info

Just ensure to use “Please Invite Me” in the subject line, I will send you an invite as soon as I check my emails!

As I have explained in my post about social ranking factors is the popularity of your website one factor Google uses to determine a websites search engine position, it would just be logical if Google would weight its own Network more than Facebook, Twitter and co, doesn´t it?
