On Page SEO Checklist

This seo checklist should be followed whenever you post new content to your website :

1. Use your main keyword in your title tags of your pages.

2. Use your keyword in your h1,h2,h3 tags!

3. Use your target keywords in your meta description, but ensure to write for human readers, this is also important to make potential visitors click on your link in the SERPs.

4. Add your target keywords to your meta keywords section of your html code. Do not use more than 150 signs here!

5. Use your main keyword in your pages url.

6. Your content keyword density should be around 1-3 %. Try to use different variations of your main keyword to make your site look more natural.

7. Try to use your main keyword at least once in the first and last paragraph of your pages content.

8. Ensure to use underlined, italic and bolded tags to highlight your keyword inside your content.

9. Ensure to use keyword rich image alt texts and descriptions for all important images you are using.

10. Link to a related page on your site using your main keyword as anchor text.

11. Link to your homepage using your Websites main keyword!

12. Use the links title attribute by using one of your targeted keywords.

13. Link to high authority sites like Google or Wikipedia from time to time, using your keywords as anchor text.
